New York English Language Proficiency Center (NYELPC), is a training center that teaches the Finishing Course for Call Center Agents, 100hr (FCCCA). This training is up to a 13-day, 100-hour course. It will develop trainee’s English communication skills especially speaking and listening. Our phonics and voice recognition programs can focus on sounds that reduce the native accent. It will introduce them to the call center culture as well as the basic do’s and don’ts of the industry. We teach culture based on the client’s target customers and common BPO vocabulary. The industry practice segment gets them ready to work in the BPO environment. Our blended-learning methodology incorporates classroom teachers, self-directed learning groups, computer-assisted instruction and MP3 files uploaded and installed in their mobile phone for homework support.
Our curriculum incorporates training to pass typical Call Center / BPO screening tests such as Versant Speaking test and photo-story tests. Students become familiar with the standard screening test, strategies and practice used by most BPO companies in the Philippines and around the world. Formerly known as the Spoken English Tests (SET), Versant™ tests are the only completely automated tests of spoken and written languages. Using the patented Ordinate® speech processing technology and Knowledge Analysis Technologies™ text engine, Versant tests can be taken on a telephone or a computer and scores are available online within minutes.
NYELPC trains students with licensed training software such as, Dynamic Education International. Both our FCCCA and English Proficiency training programs are accredited by Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA).
